Town-Wide Free Clean up and Shredding Event

Saturday, April 10, 2021  from 9:00am – 1:00pm

Miscellaneous trash and bulk item dumpsters will be located at: 

Henderson Park – 413 Martin Luther King Street

Dundee Community Center – 603 Lake Marie Blvd.

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:

• Hazardous items: batteries, paint/oil, or household hazardous waste
• All appliances must be free of food and Freon and must have all doors removed for the safety of small children.
• All rims must be removed from tires.

Shredding Trucks and Secure Containers will be located at:

Dundee Town Hall Parking Lot – 202 E. Main Street

SHREDDING ACCEPTED ITEMS:

• Old Bank Documents/Tax Records
• Unnecessary Bills/receipts/medical records
• Expired Home and car insurance policies
• Junk Mail such as credit card offers
• Old Travel Documents
• Sticky Notes or other notes containing passwords
• Paperclips, staples, folders, envelopes, spiral notebooks and brass tabs on envelopes are all safe and can be included with your documents
• A limited number of hard drives and CD/DVD’s will also be allowed to be recycled

DOCUMENTS FOR SHREDDING SHOULD NOT INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

• Batteries
• Large Metal Objects
• Syringes
• Sharp Objects
• Food
• Cardboard Tubes
• Ink Cartridges and Toners
• Pressurized Containers
• Electrical Items
• Glass, cans, etc.
