On the Dundee Tree Board, residents provide oversight and advice to town management regarding the beautification of the town through the maintenance of the town’s trees, public flora and use of the town tree’s fund. It shall be the responsibility of the Board to study, investigate, counsel, develop, update annually, and administer a written plan for the care, preservation, pruning, planting, replanting, removal or disposition of trees and shrubs in parks, along streets, and in other areas of the town.
FREE Private Property Trees
The Town of Dundee’s private tree program offers residents free and reduced-cost trees to plant on your front, back or side yard, along with planting and care resources. The homeowner is responsible for planting, watering and maintaining the tree and enjoying the benefits as it grows.

Street Tree Program
The Town of Dundee provides and plants trees in the right-of-way along Town streets at no cost to homeowners. Interested residents should contact the Town’s Tree Board to request a tree. Once it is requested, the Town will determine the right place for the tree to be planted and then plant the tree. The owner is then responsible for watering, fertilizing and caring for the tree.
Dedicated Tree Program
This program allows individuals to purchase or recognize an already planted public tree in honor of an individual, group or organization in a Town public land.
