Lawn & Landscaping Watering Rules

Flyer titled “A Reminder from the Dundee Public Utilities Department” with the Town of Dundee logo at the top. It states that the Southwest Florida Water Management District has declared a Modified Phase II Water Shortage limiting lawn watering to one day per week. Watering is allowed only between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. A schedule lists watering days based on the last digit of home addresses: 0–1 Monday, 2–3 Tuesday, 4–5 Wednesday, 6–7 Thursday, 8–9 Friday. Low-volume watering for plants (not lawns) is allowed any time. Newly planted lawns may be watered daily for days 1–30, then limited to specific days for days 31–60 based on odd or even addresses. Additional rules cover fountain use (limited to eight hours daily), pressure washing allowances, and car washing (only on assigned watering day using a hose with shutoff nozzle). It states HOAs cannot require additional watering. Contact information and website details are provided. Bold text at the bottom reads: “NO WATERING IS ALLOWED BETWEEN 8 A.M. – 6 P.M. ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.”
